could this concept work with other consumer products? if companies were entirely responsible for the waste they create i bet they would make less of it.

i changed an HP cartridge today and was surprised to find a self addressed envelope. you can send it back HP, and they will recycle the old cartridge. i wonder what they do with them once they receive it...
